Read-Alouds in the Classroom

November 2, 2012

I am gratified to see that many of you have recently searched for resources on Classroom Read-Alouds. We wrote about Literacy in the Classroom  some time ago.

Literature is an important part of any classroom. Educators can use literature and read-alouds to teach, model, and reinforce many concepts and important ideas. Below are resources for books and strategies for using read-alouds in PK-12 classrooms. Some connect to various content areas. Reading and writing across the curriculum is a valuable and  effective teaching strategy.

Make it a good day!

Linda
